Gulf fights for tourism after oil spill

This Memorial Day Weekend isn’t going to be as it used to be at Gulf Coast, BP oil spilla prompted many tourists to bolt to other destinations.
Some are taking a look at places such as Hilton Head Island or Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. That’s set off an intense effort by tourism officials and businesses in the Gulf of Mexico to lure them back. PHOENIX, United States, April. 7, 2010. In a letter sent to President Obama, Arizona’s Governor, Jan Brewer, request for monetary resources and help from National Guard to stop people, drugs and weapons traffic at this frontier.
In this letter, Arizona’s Governor says that roads, and places in Arizona where nobody lives had become, some of the principal steps to illegal immigration and drugs and weapons traffic.
The Governor consider to implement 250 new agents so that this number of elements who fight against Narcoterrorism in Arizona gets to 400. besides a new contingent of soldiers and National Air Guard aviators.

A new Vaccine being tested in the UK, has been show to help some patients to fully recover from melanoma, even in its advanced stages.
This vaccine works, attacking tumour cells, and leaving healthy cells undamaged.
As the UK Telegraph news site said that Dr Howard Kaufman, of Chicago’s Rush University Medical Centre, said: “Our study shows we may have a cure for some advanced melanoma patients and a drug which has real benefits for others.
“This will save thousands of lives a year.”
Over the past 25 years, rates of melanoma in Britain have risen faster than any other common cancer and 2,000 die from the disease every year.

VANCOUVER, Canada, Feb. 21, 2010.- Germany’s Andre Lange and Kevin Kuske got their fourth gold medal on Bobsleigh,after posting a time of three minutes 26.65 seconds in four runs at the Whistler Sliding Center. This is their second Olympic title as partners
Lange and Kuske, got the other two gold medals from Germany’s team as four on Bob, won at the Whistler Center by 22 hundredth of advantage against their fellow countrymen Thomas Florschuetz and Richard Adjei, who won silver, and by 86 hundredth against Alexandr Zubkov y Alexey Voevoda, from the Russian team who made the Bronze.
